Toastmasters International Educational Program

The Toastmasters Educational Program is divided into 2 tracks: Communication Track & Leadership Track. The tracks are not mutually exclusive. You may participate in both tracks at the same time if you wish.

Communication Track

Competent Communicator (CC)                                                              formerly known as Competent Toastmaster (CTM)                                                    To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Completed the Basic Communication Manual (See details of Manual here)

Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB)                                             formerly known as Advanced Toastmaster Bronze (ATM-B)                                           To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Achieved Competent Communicator award                                                     * Completed TWO Advanced Communication Manual (See details of Manuals here)

Advanced Communicator Silver (ACS)                                                        formerly known as Advanced Toastmaster Silver (ATM-S)                                           To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Achieved Advanced Communicator Bronze award                                            * Completed TWO additional Advanced Communication Manuals, not of those completed for earlier award                                                                            * Conducted any TWO programs from The Better Speaker Series and/or The Successful Club Series

Advanced Communicator Gold (ACG)                                                        formerly known as Advanced Toastmaster Gold (ATM-G)                                           To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Achieved Advanced Communicator Silver award                                               * Completed TWO additional Advanced Communication Manuals, not of those completed for earlier award                                                                            * Conducted a Success/Leadership, Success/Communication or a Youth Leadership program                                                                                       * Coached a new member with the first three speech projects

Leadership Track

Competent Leader (CL) Old Version, ceased from Jul 2008                                 To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Achieved Competent Communicator award                                                    * Served as a club officer & participated in the preparation of a Club              Success Plan                                                                                               * Participated in officer training as a club officer                                               * Conducted any TWO programs from The Successful Club Series and/or Leadership Excellence Series

Competent Leader (CL) New Version                                                               To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Completed the Competent Leader Manual (See details of Manuals here)  

Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB)                                                               To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Achieved NEW Competent Leader award                                                      * Achieved Competent Communicator award                                                    * Served at least SIX months as a club officer & participated in the preparation of a Club Success Plan                                                                                     * Participated in officer training as a club officer                                               * Conducted any TWO programs from The Successful Club Series and/or Leadership Excellence Series, not of those completed for earlier award

Advanced Leader Silver (ALS)                                                                  To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Achieved Advanced Leader Bronze award (or OLD Competent Leader award     * Served a complete term as a DISTRICT officer (District Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Public Relations Officer, Secretary, Treasurer, Division Governor or Area Governor).                                                                                                                       A complete term is defined as having served at least from Sep 1 through Jun 30. Those assuming office after Sep 1 do not qualify as having served a full term.                                            * Completed the High Performance Leadership Program (See details of Manuals here) * Served successfully as a club sponsor, mentor or coach.

The HIGHEST award in Toastmasters                                                          Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)                                                                To be eligible for this award, you must have:

* Achieved Advanced Communicator Gold award                                              * Achieved Advanced Leader Silver award
